About Windsor

Windsor Church dates from 1887 and occupies an elevated, grassy site overlooking the busy Lisburn Road, which attracts many people to its shops and restaurants. Windsor, being near Queen's University and major hospitals and schools, is seeing an influx of people coming to live in the area around it. The congregation seeks to make contact with these people and offers friendship and a warm welcome to everyone.

Through faith in God our aim is to be an effective witness for the gospel of Jesus Christ in all its aspects by being a friendly, caring Church reaching out to all the people in our community.

Our motto is: Know Christ, and make him known.

Everyone is welcome to share our worship, fellowship and witness.

The church’s address is Derryvolgie Avenue, Belfast BT9 6FL.  The church is situated on the corner of Derryvolgie Avenue and Lisburn Road in south Belfast. There is easy access into the Church for disabled people.

A history of the congregation’s first 100 years, written by Mr R.J. Brown, is available for £3.
